Abstracts Guidelines

  • Abstracts must be submitted exclusively through the conference website. The submission deadline is 29th August 2026.
  • Abstracts must be original and should not have been published elsewhere before National NextGen PEDICON 2026.
  • The presentation should be original and not published elsewhere.
  • The presenting author should take responsibility for the accuracy of the results.
  • The presenting author is required to ensure that the co-authors are aware of the submission and approved of the content.
  • The presenting author's name should be highlighted. His/her full name, institution, phone number and email address must be provided.
  • An e-mail confirming the receipt of abstract, including an abstract number, will be sent to the presenting author. This number should be quoted for all further correspondence.
  • Acceptance/rejection will be notified only after review.
  • Abstracts will be categorized into different categories along with oral and poster presentations.
  • Selected oral abstracts will be presented on the podium during the conference.
  • Scientific Committee reserves the right to accept/reject/change the category (oral/poster) of your paper.

Categories

  • Original papers: 300 words, background/rationale, methods, results, conclusion.
  • Systematic reviews and Meta-analysis: 300 words, background/rationale, methods, results, conclusion.
  • Case reports: 250 words, background, case description, conclusion.
  • Learning through Images and Videos: 250 words, background, case with image/video description, conclusion.
    Highlighting clinical signs, clinical videos, radiology images, histopathology, graphics (ventilation, EEG, ECG etc).
  • My challenging case: Mentor-mentee presentation: 250 words, background, case with image/video description, conclusion.
    Highlighting challenging case in terms of approach, management, or interdisciplinary care. Mentee should present the case and mentor highlight important points and discussion.
  • Resident Cases Battle: 250 words, background, case description, conclusion.
